Introducing the New 2024 Subaru BRZ tS

When we talk about sports cars, the Subaru BRZ is often brought up as one of the best and most real sports cars in the world. It has long been hailed as a return of the proper definition of a sports car, or at least as close as you can get in modern times. 

In recent years performance cars have grown larger, heavier, and feature immense amounts of power that will typically only come to life once you start hitting double the speed limit. In order to have a good time during spirited back road driving, you’ll have to be breaking the law to really start to get all the benefits from the car you just purchased. This is not the case with the BRZ. Its smaller and lighter approach allows you to truly enjoy the car closer to its limits, whether on back roads or a race track. You don’t need to break any laws to enjoy how incredible the steering and handling are. 

Small But Mighty Engine

The small but mighty 2.4-liter Boxer 4-cylinder produces 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque mated to either a close-ratio 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The EPA estimated fuel economy is 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway for the manual, and 21 city and 30 mpg highway for the automatic, respectively. 

Special & New

With suspension tuning done by STI, the Subaru BRZ tS will also include larger Brembo high-performance brakes, special design tweaks, and Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assistance technology offered for the first time on a manual transmission BRZ. 

Special Technology

Subaru has some of the best safety features on the market today. Subaru EyeSight technology features Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking System, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert. Starting with the tS, the technology will also now be standard on all manually equipped BRZs. The tS will also be the only manually-equipped BRZ to have Adaptive Cruise Control

Special Flair

Unique tS badges can be seen on the front grille and rear decklid, setting it apart from the regular BRZ, as well as the interior being wrapped in black upholstery with unique blue contrast stitching on the front seat bolsters, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the shift and parking boots. An STI badge will adorn the starter button and 7-inch digital gauge cluster. 

Standard Equipment

The 2024 BRZ tS is based on the Limited trim and will come standard with heated power exterior mirrors, premium audio with a two-channel amplifier and two extra speakers, Blind-Spot Detection with Lane-Keep Assist, Rear-Cross Traffic Alert, Steering Responsive Headlights, and StarLink Safety and Security.

The 2024 Subaru BRZ tS will go on sale in the first quarter of 2024.
