Adventure Package Protects Your Subaru and Keeps the Nevada Sun at Bay

Perusing cars at Centennial Subaru in Las Vegas, you will encounter the Adventure Package. If it is not on a model you are interested in, you may want to have it added. The package contains four items that protect your purchase, including one that can keep your Subaru much more comfortable when parked in the Nevada sun.

Looking and Keeping Cool

The headline feature of the Adventure Package is a ceramic Window Tint. Ceramic window tint is a far superior form of window tinting that can block over 90% of harmful ultraviolet UV rays from your interior. It protects your interior surfaces from eventual fading and oxidation, but its immediate advantage is its ability to reject 70% of the sun’s heat. Thus, your car will be much more comfortable to enter in the Las Vegas Spring, Summer, and Fall, and your air conditioning will be able to get you to your desired temperature much more quickly. The front-door windows can be tinted to the point that they allow 35% of light through the windows. The windows on the rear doors, rear quarter windows, and tailgate can be tinted at 5%, which means that just 5% of sunlight will filter through. It will keep the car significantly cooler when parked in the sun but also make it difficult for strangers to see items in your rear seat or cargo area.

Protecting Your Investment

Additional security can be found in the package’s wheel locks. These replace one hexagonal lug on each wheel with a thief-thwarting round lug that can only be turned by a marching socket that you will have secured inside the car. 

The package also protects the look of your Subaru with Door Edge Guards. This transparent film wraps around the outdoor edge to protect against paint chipping should they contact anything when opened. A similar film is used in the Door Cup Protectors. This film is expertly applied to the concave section of the door behind the door handles, which otherwise can become scratched or dulled by regular scraping of fingernails when grabbing the door handles.
