What Is the Purpose of International Women’s Day?

International Women’s Day in 2023 seeks to #EmbraceEquity and accomplish its primary goal of helping to forge a gender-equal world by celebrating women’s achievements and recognizing inequality. To accomplish this goal, International Women’s Day has detailed a number of missions: specific ways women and men can work toward gender equality, inclusion, and diversity.
