Wilderness Options
May 30 2025 - Centennial Subaru

In Las Vegas, we’re lucky to be surrounded by such off-road challenges as Alamo Road, the Nellis Dunes OHV Recreation Area, and the Bridge Mountain via Lovell Canyon Road. If you’re excited to take on any of these all-terrain adventures, go for the Wilderness trim of the Subaru Crosstrek, Forester, or Outback, which you’ll find at Centennial Subaru. This hardy option rewards you with many pluses.

Advantages of the Wilderness Trim

As you’d expect from a Subaru, all Wilderness trims feature the standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive that optimizes traction and enhances grip with unique 17-inch matte black-finish alloy wheels wrapped in GEOLANDAR® all-terrain tires. X-MODE adjusts engine output, throttle, torque split, and hill descent with additional settings for Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud. Revised gear ratios improve low-speed climbs.

A front skid plate guards against rough terrain while the redesigned front and rear bumpers optimize approach and departure angles for clearing larger obstacles and jagged terrain. Bad weather isn’t an issue with LED hexagonal-style fog lights that cut through the haze and durable StarTex® water-repellant upholstery that is easy to clean. Stronger roof rails encourage more cargo, including a roof tent when you want to linger overnight in a new location.

2025 Subaru Crosstrek

The Wilderness trim of the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek power comes by a 2.5-liter Subaru BOXER 4-cylinder engine that provides 182 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque of torque, while obtaining up to an EPA-estimated 29 miles per gallon on the highway and a delicious 25 MPG in the city. The SUV tows up to 3,500 lbs. and traverses tough terrain with 9.3 inches of ground clearance. You can drop the rear seatbacks to increase cargo room from 20 to 54.9 cu. ft. as you listen on the 6 speakers of the 11.6-inch SUBARU STARLINK® Multimedia Plus system, which includes 4G LTE WiFi.

2025 Subaru Forester

The Wilderness trim of the compact 2025 Subaru Forester features the same 2.5-liter engine with the same horsepower, but with maximum towing at 3,000 lbs. and fuel economy at up to 28 highway MPG and 25 city MPG. A 180-degree front-view monitor reveals what’s ahead from 9.2 inches of ground clearance.

A full-size spare wheel and tire is stored below the cargo area, which increases from 27.5 to 69.1 cu. ft. with rear seats folded. Providing entertainment and optional navigation directions is the SUBARU STARLINK® 8.0-inch Multimedia Plus system with 6 speakers and 4G LTE Wi-Fi capability.

2025 Subaru Outback

The largest of the Wilderness trims is the midsize 2025 Subaru Outback, which has cargo room ranging from 32.6 to 75.6 cu. ft. and a full-size spare wheel and tire. The turbo version of the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder produces 260 horsepower, 277 lb.-ft. of torque, and 3,500 lbs. of towing. Ground clearance is 9.5 inches.

You also get the best of the trim’s infotainment tech with the 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system that is elevated by the Harman Kardon® premium audio system with 12 speakers and a 576-watt equivalent GreenEdge amp.
